Where:  227 N D Street Perris CA 92570, north side of the Chamber of Commerce Building and next door to Code Enforcement

Attending this seminar you will benefit by acquiring best practices on payroll concerns.  

The workshop will be conducted by Mercy Moreno Employment Tax Consultant with the Employment Development Department. Co-presenting will be James C. Counts II, Certified Public Accountant Representing the IRS.

In just four hours, you will learn:

 - California payroll reporting requierements, including forms, employer obligations, reporting, and payment requirements

 - About independent contractor reporting requirements

 - Electronic filing and payment requirements and options

 - How to distinguish between an employee and an independent contractor

 - The basics of statutory employment

 - Ways to get assistance

By the conclusion of the seminar, you’ll be amazed that you can:

  • Learn and interpret the state payroll laws
  • Explain the differences between employee and independent contractor
  • Understand key financial payroll obligations and unintendend consequences for not knowing
  • Articulate how best to employ and properly report your workers. Resulting in better cash flow, pricing and more impact financial success
