Veteran Entrepreneurship Training Series (VETS)
USVets.tv in Chantilly, VA, CEO Dave Gardy and I have reached thousands across the nation with our two live webcasts. We will continue doing monthly live webcasts to Get You On The Grid and become Procurement Ready for our Feb 2018 Veteran Summit.

This will be our third live webcast and learned from our first east and west coast effort. This will be another segment you don't want to miss!

We lining up the speakers from DC, and other locations to make sure we share with you critical information to get you procurement ready.

We are thankful to Barbara Carson from the SBA and her team and will continue to participate at our USVets.tv studio on the east coast; however, Sep is end of FY and we are waiting for her schedule. Barbara is the Associate Administrator Office of Veteran Business Development.

The number 1 hot topic for all of us that are verified is the true process from procurement ready, bidding proces and post award. This is one live webcast you don't want to miss. Schuyler is procurement ready, sumbitted a bid to the VA, and is in the post award process with a pettion to the VA requesting facts on why the lowest price from a Verified SDVOB lost to a higher bid and non-verified Veteran Owned Business. He will share in the process and where his pettion is by the time we have the live webcast. Shuyler's business is Vet Guard Medical and we welcome him.

Most of us that are verified enjoy commercial participation and are considering federal procurement opportunities. Our next speaker invited is Brent Heisch and has been incredibly successful in the commercial market and will share his success and intrest in considering the federal market. Brent's business is Brent's Mechanical and we welcome him as well.

We have heard so many stories and concerns on the verification process and we reached out to Tom Lenney to join us and share with us more about the process and some of the concerns we all have. Who is Tom Lenney? He is the Executive Director, Small and Veteran Business Programs and is there to serve all of us and responsible for the professional process all things verificaiton. He had his staff join us July 26, 2017 to introduce the Direct Access Program that the majority of us had no clue. This is a MUST view live webcast!! Below is our tentatvie run sheet and all three speakers provide real time information and engaged like all of us. You want to learn what they have to say.
